How Important Is The Word Of A King?

The word of a King, once spoken, cannot be taken back. Such, is the power of a King. The power of the position. The words spoken by a king, need to be executed without fail.

King Nebuchadnezzar out of his anger decided to cut his wise men into pieces and burn their houses down if they did not tell him what he had dreamt. That’s one crazy request!

The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. (Daniel 2:5)

The conspirators who went against Daniel manipulated the king to put out a decree which went against Daniel's belief. The King had signed a decree that no one could pray for 30 days. Daniel was a man of prayer and there was nothing that could stop him from giving his time to God.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. (Daniel 6:12)

The New Testament Word Of a King

In the New Testament ministry, believers, are called to be kings (and priests). How mindful are we about our words? How to solve this universal problem? Fill your heart with the love of God so the word of God flows out of you all the time. What comes out of our mouth, defiles. What comes out of our mouth, flows from our heart.

Let Jesus be your only desire; He, the word, will manifest in your life daily. May God bless us all. Maranatha, praise God and amen!
