How To Rule Like A King As A Believer?

Are you living like a King, dear believer?

Jesus calls us Kings and Priests, as a Spirit baptised child of God, led by the Spirit of God.

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. ( Revelation 1:6)

What’s the one thing (among many) a King needs to do? He needs to rule. To rule means, to have dominion, to be able to judge. What does a king need, to judge? God’s knowledge and righteousness.

He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment (Psalms 72:1,2).

Adam lost that in the garden of Eden. If only he stuck to God’s word. He had dominion over everything on earth. Instead of obeying God’s word, he did his own will.

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: (Psalms 8:6)

What did Solomon ask God when he was appointed King?

An understanding heart to judge the people righteously. He could have gone ahead and done what he wanted; but he chose what God desired. God was pleased with Solomon, and blessed him more than he could ask or think. Peace reigned throughout his rule.

What are you called to rule?

You are a King, called to rule over your heart and be a blessing to the people God has brought into your life. Guard your heart, for out of it comes the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

Gear up, be still, stand for God’s word. Serve in holiness and peace (Hebrews 12:14). Jesus, the King of kings is coming soon for His bride. Praise God and Amen.
