What is Religionism?

"My husband left me 14 years ago with two children. I lived in shame and guilt for years. My mother often made me feel rejected and unloved because of the shame I brought for his leaving due to (his) adultery. I live in a village where everyone knows everyone. The devil kept playing deceptive false accusations through people. I could not find any peace in my religion.

I felt alone and lost and turned into a ghost.

Seven years ago, someone told me about the love of Jesus. I felt alive again. Today, my daughters and I love the presence of God. Jesus speaks to my little one through dreams. The elder, nine years old, received the anointing of the Holy Spirit. No more guilt or shame because we are free in Jesus' name!"

Religionism cripples the freedom God intended for us.

Even a mother develops bitterness and hate against her daughter in her heart because of false religious practices that depend on what society thinks or talks about you.

What is shameful in the sight of God is not your earthly lack — but the lack of knowledge of God's powerful and restorative Word and Spirit. Everything about us will get transformed when we desire to learn about the Father's love.

The world will look down upon you for various reasons that aren't eternal. A believer is living for eternity - for a forever secure future.

Surrender to that eternal rest in Christ in prayer and bible meditation. Let the Holy Spirit restore you in Christ.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
