There’s nothing good in us

We know the nine qualities in the fruit of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit has the most important qualities necessary for us to reflect Christ in our lives.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22‭-‬23)

This also means we don't have these natures in us without the Holy Spirit.

The fruit of the Spirit in our lives is an outcome of giving room for the Holy Spirit.

Without a Spirit-led walk, we have no hope of the rapture. We will not have the revelation to live the life necessary to be caught up.

HOW TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT?

Overcome fleshly pursuits that hinder your walk with God. The freedom we have received needs to be put into loving and serving one another. Instead, we often use our freedom to pursue fleshly longings and lusts.

The Jews loved to show off their outward religiousity. Dead inside, they tried to influence believers in old and fleshly traditions (circumcision). They constantly pursued vain glory, provoking each other to jealousy.

But we have received the Spirt of Liberty (Holy Spirit).

Total freedom for a believer is only possible when led by the Spirit. The Spirit led Jesus in His entire time on earth. He became victorious because He trusted God's Word and gave room for the Holy Spirit for His every move.

Depend on God for all matters. He will prepare you for His coming.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
