King Of Hearts

Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Is He the King of your heart? 

The excellent way of life is love. That's why Jesus commanded us to love all like Him. Jesus is the way of excellent love. 

One essential request in all our prayers is to be flooded by God's excellent love. His love is better than wine. The only love that doesn't intoxicate but opens us up to more of His love. 

Jesus is the Father's love poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. When we meditate on the cross, we get overwhelmed by His love and begin to understand how great a love Jesus has for us. 

We quickly forget this great love. Isn't that horrible? Why do we forget so easily? It's because we fail to acknowledge the battle we are fighting while in the world. 

• Sinful pleasures

• Selfish desires

• Worldly joys, and 

• Satan's deceit

All of the above are daily attacking our spiritual man - weakening us in an attempt to become the Lord of our lives. Don't neglect the battle. Put on the whole armour (Ephesians 6:10-20). Let the love of God drive whatever you do in word or deed. Victory will follow as you learn the ways of God.

When we cultivate God's love in our hearts, the mind receives a fresh vision and strength to overcome evil lordships.
