How to be innocent to enter the kingdom of God?

Innocent believers are like strangers on earth. A group who understands only the way of the Heavenly Father. Like an innocent child who finds comfort only in the bosom of his mother, the believer loves only the presence of the Heavenly Father.

Who entered Canaan?

Moreover, your little ones whom you said would become prey, and your sons, who today have no knowledge of good or evil, shall enter Canaan, and I will give it to them and they shall possess it. (Deuteronomy 1:39)

Who was in the garden of Eden without sin, having no knowledge of good and evil?

Adam and Eve.

Till they ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil they remained innocent and pure, doing the will of the Heavenly Father. The moment they ate of the forbidden fruit, disobedience gave room for sin which removed them from the presence of God.

What does it mean to be innocent?

God desires a people who fully depend on Him for all things. “Our knowledge” has become a hindrance to understanding the things of God. We question and doubt and argue over God’s word without trying to surrender our whole self to Him.

If a person isn’t born again, he can never understand nor submit to God. Only a born again person can live in the presence of God, if he willingly obeys the word of God.

When does a born again believer begin to separate from God? When we allow the world and its worries to consume us. Instead of relying on God’s word and leading of the Holy Spirit.

We read the news, get filled with earthly knowledge which does not match with heavenly knowledge, mull over it and get confused. We fail to meditate on the word of God and then get burdened by earthly information which causes all the frustration and repression inside us.

The knowledge we receive from God is everlasting. His word never fails. Turning to God wholeheartedly is the only way to preserve our innocence.
