Revive Me O Lord..!(Part 2)

O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. Habakkuk‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭

Yes indeed!! It’s time we prayed to God for a revival. Big things like global warming, wars, rumours of war, epidemic, droughts, famine and the fear attached with these; are creeping into our system day in and out.

Not only this, people are getting lonely day by day. Depression and the feeling of inadequacy is on the rise. The world isn’t becoming a better place to stay anymore. Therefore, as people who are aware of the times ahead through the Scriptures, let’s ask God to bring us back again.

In this post I want to continue the remaining portions of people in whom revival took place.

3. In Luke 7:11-14 we see a young man, already dead being carried out for burial. He was his mom’s only son and she was a widow. Wonderfully, Jesus brought him back from the dead.

Spiritually, this event in the youth’s life can be compared to people who have lost their first love. Once, these people lived vehemently for the Lord. But now they have gone back and are in a dry state. Looking at the church of Ephesus the Spirit says the same thing - Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Revelation‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭

ARISE OUT OF YOUR SLUMBER. LET CHRIST SHINE ON YOU.

4. In John 11:43, Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary was dead and buried since four days. Basically his body was already stinking and of course there was no hope for his revival. But Jesus brought even him, back to life from the dead.

There could be some who are bound by grave clothes - eyes, head, hands, feet and body, all bound. They are ones with no vision for life ahead, heart dead so no love, unable to do anything for the Lord. God does not desire anyone to perish. As He sent His Word of resurrection and brought Lazarus back, He is willing and able to do for you too. Just believe.

THERE IS HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS IN JESUS.

May God help us.

Be blessed 💕
