Have You Seen God?

What will you say when someone asks, have you seen God? Will you yes or no?

In 1 Timothy 6:16, we know that no man has seen God, nor can see Him, and neither can they approach His light. It is impossible for a human, in this flesh, to get anywhere close to God.

Does it mean we haven't seen Him as believers?

John 1:18 reveals that while no man has seen God anytime, Jesus declares Him. Through Jesus, we have seen God. Those who know Jesus have already seen Him (John 14:7). Study the life of Jesus, and you will speak the words of eternal life.

1 John 4:12-16 gives us another insight into how we have seen God - through the Spirit who dwells in us. The Spirit of God helps us see and testify that God sent Jesus as Saviour.

In the same verse, we see how when we love one another, God dwells in us.

Isn't it lovely how we have access to our Creator? How we can see Him through Jesus! The Father's love is the most excellent way. It is greater than any gift or calling. Every gift or calling needs to remain in God's love. Then the word comes with power, stirring the listeners to live correctly and leading them to victory.

Dear beloved of Jesus, you have seen God. Tell the world boldly how awesome God is and why He calls all to Him. Prepare yourself to meet Jesus.
