What Is The Grace Of God?

What is grace? Grace means, unmerited favour. ‘Good’ we don’t deserve.

Grace is not just an attribute. Grace is a person. Who is grace? Jesus is grace and truth (John 1:14,17).

Thanks to God for all those who believe in Jesus. Saved by grace, through faith. No man could ever receive salvation on their own effort. The only way is Jesus, the grace of God (Titus 2:11). Not only that, He has made us heirs (Titus 3:7) to His throne.

Remember, grace means unmerited favour. This means we cannot boast about this new status of life we have received. When we weren’t searching for God, He chose us.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8,9

Mary, the woman who bore Jesus, hailed from an insignificant place called Nazareth. Even Nathanael was astonished at how the Messiah was from a place no one considered important. When the angels met Mary, they called her “favoured” because she would bear Jesus (Luke 1:27-31). Mary had nothing to boast about, neither was she special in any way.

The exceeding abundant grace of God is being poured into our lives

And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 1:14

Our blessedness is in Christ Jesus alone. We can stay blessed by being faithful to God’s word.

Sin is increasing, and the love of many are waxing cold. The grace of God still abounds for all those who want to grow in Jesus.

Like Mary, God has birthed Christ in undeserving us. It is the grace of God alone that will give us the full and final salvation. Hold on. Stand. Jesus is coming soon. Praise God and Amen.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16
