How To Know You Are Alive?

Are you alive or are you living? Do you understand the difference?

Those who are living in the flesh are spiritually dead;
Those who are spiritually alive are dead to sin.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:11)

The living love the world.
The alive, hate this world and love only Jesus.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)

The living worry about the future.
The alive live gloriously, in the joy of the Lord everyday.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Psalms 16:11)

The living love the company of worldly friends.
The alive love fellowship, with God and practising believers.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. (Acts 2:42)

The living are bound in worldliness.
The alive are free in godliness.

But godliness with contentment is great gain. (1 Timothy 6:6)

We are alive when Jesus lives in us

Because He lives, we live, it’s true. We are alive because He rose from the dead. What matters is being alive. Being alive in Jesus alone.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

Believe in the resurrection

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (John 11:25)

Many "believers" doubt the resurrection, such are living in vain. Hopeless and Carnal.

Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead. But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. (1 Corinthians 15:12-14)

Let’s receive a fresh inspiration from God, a new heart and a renewed mind. Be ready for He is coming soon. Praise God and Amen.
