5 reasons why we gather in the Church fellowship
As loving children, to obey Christ's instruction, watch and pray. In Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
To receive gifts for edification of the church, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:4 says, "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
To encourage one another, giving hope, concerning the coming of the Lord. Hebrews 10: 25 says, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
Be united as a church. Psalms 133:1 says, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.
To add souls to the kingdom of God, as seen in Acts 2:46-47. "... And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
There are many Christians who do not understand what they've entered into, in Christ Jesus. Some remain unsaved though born into a Christian setup. Then there are those who have received Jesus but have no guidance concerning their spiritual growth.
In the last days, believers are refusing to gather in fellowship. They host bitterness in their hearts and avoid one another. Avoiding confrontation rather than reconciling in true brotherhood.
Pray for such brethren who skip church and fall into deception. Weep for the children and women, Jesus is coming soon to take all who are walking in love. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
