When love drives, faith strives to victory

Sometimes your trial or enemy has to seem impossible for you to grow in your trust of God. Which also means the perceived loss should be terrifying leaving you with no option but to trust in God alone.

When battles feel easy to handle, we don’t commit ourselves enough for what God has called us. In fact, we end up starting away from God’s presence.

King David started well in the Lord as God’s anointed. He won great battles, defeated mighty enemies. Took for granted his walk with God one day, and fell into an impossible trial. It could have been all over for him. Thank God, he repented. His repentance worked a deeper work in him where he was called by God a “man after my mine own heart.” An impossible trial drove him into a deeper commitment in God.

King Solomon on the other hand, had it really easy. God was pleased with him initially, till, he ended up disobeying God. He got so involved in his comfort and convenience that he became proud, staying unrepentant.

When Love drives, faith strives

Jesus says, STRIVE to enter the narrow gate. Striving involves agony. A suffering or persecution the godly go through. This striving is not by our own efforts. It's only possible to strive when we are driven by the love of God.

When we empty ourselves for God's love to be filled in us; He guides us through His Spirit so we can overcome all odds.

Stephen and all the apostles strived till the end. Many disciples and some apostles fell away because they either found it hard or loved the present evil world.

Are you striving in Christ, for Christ? Or is it all about your future in this world?

Stop and reevaluate your life as a believer. Let your belief bring forth the glory of God. Sow in Christ to reap in an eternity with Him forever. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen!
