What Does Sin Do To Man?
Why do we fall most of the time? We don't take sin seriously. Isn't it crazy, that Jesus died on the cross and rose again, yet we fall now and then?
There is nothing we can do to save ourselves. That's why Jesus did it all on the cross and gave us His victory.
But we must take sin seriously and seek God's face daily to stay in His presence.
3 THINGS THAT SIN DOES TO MAN
Separates man from God (Isaiah 59:2)
Corruption (1 Corinthians 15:50-53)
Enslaved to Satan (Acts 26:18)
Adam sinned and could not return to God's presence. God did not immediately judge him. God asked about his whereabouts to reason with him. But Adam stopped going to God's presence, spoke against God, and blamed Eve. Never miss prayer time. No matter what your inner state is. Or what you've done. The only person who can work in your favour, despite your sin, is God.
We can get corrupted by the flesh (Galatians 6:8) and worldliness (2 Peter 1:4). When we stay away from God's presence, we remain unsanctified.
How to avoid corruption? Stay in God's presence - watch and pray. Repent and continue to prepare yourself for His coming.
Sin enslaves man to Satan. Lies, false accusations, divisions and deception become our way of life. Sin desires to rule over the believer. Beware of letting sin rule over us. Satan is always waiting to devour God's children (1 Peter 5:8).
