Trust God alone

Bible tells us not to trust man, and to trust in God alone.

“Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.” Psalms‬ ‭40:4‬ ‭

We were created for God. To be His alone. God did not call us to nest around on earth. He created us with a greater plan and purpose.

When we start in the flesh, we mind only the things of the flesh. What’s important to man then? His family, building a house, friends, work, etc. focused on fulfilling needs of self, working towards expectations of his or her immediate network. We are bound to the systems of the world to survive.

Those who are earthly do not understand those who seek the heavenly. The gap between them is like heaven and hell.

The expectations both have are different. He expects from people because his trust is in them. When you trust in man, you will end up respecting the wrong kind of people and believe in their lies suit your situation. Man’s reliance on people will make him partner with the highly proud who find success in values and philosophies which aren’t in conformity with God.

To get work done, to make that extra money, to receive that promotion or hike we often end up compromising our values. That’s hypocrisy!

The Godly trust in God to fulfil all their needs according to His riches in glory. The freedom, believers have in Christ, helps them to rest in His love and peace daily. By walking in the truth, fear is removed because trust is in God. For those who don’t believe in God, never experienced Him, will always look to pleasing people in their lives.

Trusting in God becomes easy only if you truly love God and keep His commandments. Faith grows in love and obedience. Faith and trust in God protects the believer in a supernatural way, revealed, only after it is tested and tried. It will come out purer and more precious than gold.
