The Angels Wonder

Did you know that the angels are looking at you in wonder?

"It was revealed to them that their services [their prophecies regarding grace] were not [meant] for themselves and their time, but for you, in these things [the death, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus Christ] which have now been told to you by those who preached the gospel to you by the [power of the] Holy Spirit [who was] sent from heaven. Into these things EVEN THE ANGELS LONG TO LOOK." (1 Peter 1:12)

Jesus has always been the focus of interest since the beginning of time. While the OT prophets searched about Him and prophesied, we believe and have a gospel to preach that the angels look in wonder and awe.

The carnal man is fascinated by angels. Little do they know that the angels are only servants of God ministering to us. A sinful man has no idea of his life's value in the eyes of God.

The angels are looking at us, believers, as we preach the living words of God, the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. They too, are amazed at the love of God, for all that they look forward to the abounding work of the gospel in our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are no more ordinary as co-heirs to the throne of God. Now is the time to rise and shine for Jesus. This little light of mine needs to shine brighter each day. The light of Christ in us needs to glow brighter so people get to know the love of God.

In the last days, there will be much deception. New age spirits and talk of angels, including worshipping them, will become a norm. Conversations that sound interesting and titillate the senses, driving curiosity will attempt to keep children of God away. Guard your heart, believer.

Fix your eyes on Jesus. He is more beautiful than ten thousand. He is the rose of Sharon, the lily of the valley. There is no one more beautiful than Jesus. The angels of God are looking at us as we put on Christ in our daily lives.

Look up! Your redemption draws near. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
