Testimony: Because He Lives I Live To See Another Day

An 8 year old was at the neighbours place with her brother (4 years). The neighbours had a pool in the yard. The kids were earlier warned not to go towards the side of the pool.

While playing around the house, running in and through rooms as children do. Two children got locked out in the pool area. Someone shut the door from the inside. They did not know there were two children by the poolside.

Once shut out, no one can hear any sound coming in from the outside. The windows are sound proof.

The 4 year old, curious as one is at that age, went closer to the pool, fell into it. The 8 year was standing near him and had an intuition that he might fall in pool. As soon he fell she grabbed his hand to hold him above water.

She made herself lie down flat on the side of the pool so she herself is not dragged down into the pool. When she felt her grip loosening she shouted with all her might. A fellow believer from church working inside the house noticed and came in time.

We live because He lives

It is only God's grace and mercy the child is still alive. The windows being sound proof did not allow anyone to hear the screams of the elder sister.

Her wisdom saved her brother from dying. To not dive in and place herself by the side of the pool and hold her brother was a brilliant stroke of wisdom.

Jesus is wisdom. Jesus is in her heart. God loves His children. Because He lives, we live.

We are His children. Let’s learn to be wise. Prepare yourself to meet wisdom. He is coming soon. Praise God and Amen!
