Take Care Of Your Spiritual Garments

‭Exodus 19:14 | And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.

We should not only sanctify ourselves but also wash our garments. Godly garments must be worn till the end.

What must not happen to our garments?

NEVER TEAR YOUR GARMENTS

(2 Kings 5:6,7) The King of Israel rents his clothes. Why? Naaman, the leper, was sent to his land to be cured of leprosy (sin). The king got angry, and he said I'm not a healer.

Moses tells Aaron and Eleazar (Leviticus 10:6) to not rent their clothes, or they will die. There are two kinds of death. Literal and spiritual. Jesus died on the cross. Everyone will die the literal death. But no one should die spiritually.

NEVER PUT OFF YOUR GARMENTS

(SOS 5:3) The Shunamite woman says, how to put on the coat that I have put off? My feet are dirty. We see neglect in her life. We must not be found in spiritual neglect.

(Nehemiah 4:23) Nehemiah and the team did not put off their clothes but kept working, except when washing.

NO ONE SHOULD TEAR OUR GARMENTS

(Luke 10:30) Thieves (worldliness) robbed and stripped the man (believer) from Jerusalem to Jericho. Never depart from the place God has placed you.

DON'T LET SATAN TEAR YOUR GARMENTS

The devil tore apart the Jews (Acts 19:16). The Jews represent the fallen spiritual standard.
