Are You All Fired Up For Jesus?

I got reminded of a song by Petra listening to today’s sermon - I'm all fired up! So many sermons remind me of their songs. I realised how fired up they were 25 years ago.

(Zechariah 3:2) a brand plucked out of the fire? 🔥 God testifies about Joshua to Satan. About Job, God testifies to Satan (Job 1:8).

What testimony will God give about Spirit baptised children?

To be a brand plucked out of fire, WHERE WILL THE FIRE BURN?

HEART

Psalmist says, my heart was burning inside, and then my tongue spoke out (Psalms 39:3). To remain in the fire, we must keep meditating on God's word.

BODY

A child died. Elisha prayed, then placed his body over the child, and the body became warm. The boy lived (2 Kings 4:34). Elisha is a brand plucked out of fire.

SPIRIT

Be fervent in spirit (Romans 12:11). Encourage others. Ignite others in the Lord.

GIFTS

Let spiritual gifts burn in you (2 Timothy 1:6). Don't neglect the gifts you've received (1 Timothy 4:14). There was a famine of the word and vision in the time of Samuel (1 Samuel 3:1).

To the Laodicean church, God says, you are lukewarm. Dear beloved of the Lord, are you all fired up for Jesus? Prepare yourself to meet Him.
