Speak When He Speaks To You

Meditate, NOT premeditate.

When we look at the context of Luke 21:14-15, it's for the time of persecution. But is it to be applied only when there's persecution?

Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. Luke 21:14‭-‬15

What's going on among many Christians today? They've reduced God and His Word to mere intellectual exercises. It's one thing to meditate for personal growth and preaching and another to flaunt it online for social media engagement.

Christians are too busy arguing and massaging their egos rather than labouring for the kingdom of God.

Study to be quiet and speak when the Spirit leads.

Study when alone, preach and serve in public. Keep preaching rather than displaying eloquence.

Step out as the Spirit of God leads, and let God put the words in your heart. Live your life daily unto God, and those who need to hear will get their answers from you, either by word or deed.

  • Jesus was always under pressure. He never had to plan his answers. He stayed surrendered daily, and God spoke through Him and performed miracles through the Holy Spirit.

  • Daniel could never preplan what King Nebuchadnezzar had dreamt if God would not have told him.

  • Moses did not want to speak. He did not know what to say. Yet when he humbled himself, God spoke and did what He wanted in and through him.

Love God, and His wisdom will come alive in you. Our sweetheart is waiting. Get ready! Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
