Care For The Next Generation
God cares about the next generation. Do you?
Every believer has a role in shaping the next generation. This role is not defined by human designations or institutions but by an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in each one's life.
The Holy Spirit powers God's grace in our lives to perform what He called us to do.
Everything we do on earth is temporary. Only God's word is eternal. Learning and teaching the word is a natural way of life for the born-again.
Every generation falls to the same four major areas; sin, world, Satan, and self. The answer is in the word and is the word. New media and technology continue to make it look like the times have changed. Cultural shifts are human devices to trap us and continue falling into the above challenges.
The word of God and the Holy Spirit helps us overcome cultural manipulation.
The Jews ensured their children learned the Word of God. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
The psalmist sings about praising and declaring the mighty works of God to the next generation. (Psalms 145:4)
Jesus warned us to weep for children. (Luke 23:28)
Jesus set up John for the Book of Revelation
Paul mentored Timothy
Today, the Holy Spirit mentors us to inspire and build a generation that knows and loves God.
Too busy for Jesus? Don't be. Pray and get your strength to live out for Jesus. Love the next generation. Preach, reach each, and ache for them in love. Christ is coming soon.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
