Sheep, Not GOAT
Are you a sheep or a goat?
The world celebrates being a 'goat'. The world celebrates individuals at the cost of others. GOAT is the Greatest Of All Time. Glorifying men push youth into drawing comparisons, have unrealistic expectations, pursue dangerous ambitions, waste time in idol worship, develop vain aspirations, focus on false motivations, etc. It leads to a lonely and depressing future.
A sheep is perceived to be dumb. It is dependent, never questioning, always follows the leader, and needs help all the time.
When God is your Shepherd, your life will be better than any GOAT. Be the sheep of Jesus. He is the Good Shepherd. A good shepherd cares for His sheep.
4 THINGS A SPIRITUAL SHEEP GETS FOLLOWING THE SHEPHERD
You will lack nothing because the Shepherd knows your every need. Spiritual, material, financial and physical needs. (Psalms 23:1)
Nutritious food and clean water is always available. The words of God are eternal life, and His Spirit is the living waters. (Psalms 23:2)
Man is restless without God. But in Christ, our soul is restored to His peace and joy. When the soul is restored, God's ways become our ways. (Psalms 23:3)
Be it trials, sufferings or temptations, God leads us through them all, renewing us by His Word and Spirit. He overcomes our enemies so we can be victors in Him.
When we lean on God, rest in Him, and make Him our refuge, we will not lack.
Seek His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33)
His grace will always be sufficient (2 Cor 12:9)
God supplies out of His riches in glory for His children who find rest in Him. (Philippians 4:19)
Be the sheep God has called you to be. You belong to Him. Let Him be your everything.
