Receive God’s Love

God's love cannot be achieved.

It needs to be received.

From childhood, the world teaches us to earn respect and achieve results. Work hard and achieve. Get compared unfairly for more than 16 years, and then step into a job that makes you feel inadequate during salary appraisal.

Did you receive salvation by your works? Did you achieve the born-again experience? No. Never. It was the unmerited favour of God upon our lives.

WHO CAN RECEIVE THE LOVE OF GOD?

Only an empty vessel of humility and lowliness of heart can receive the love of God. We are God's holy vessel.

HOW TO BE HUMBLE AND LOWLY HEARTED?

Humility and lowliness of heart come from Jesus alone. Look at Jesus and follow Him only. Pray. Meditate on the Word. Let the Word take effect daily in your heart.

We start in the Spirit but often find ourselves in the flesh. We let our experiences begin to guide our walk over time rather than let the Spirit of God guide us. We fall into our old conditioning of trying by our strength or wisdom rather than seeking God afresh daily.

Israel received fresh manna daily. Similarly, we must receive fresh guidance daily as we seek Him early.

You are chosen, dear believer. Receive what your heavenly Father desires to give you each day. Put on Jesus by faith and let the Holy Spirit power your walk daily in love and truth.
