Can You See That God Is Love?

If you cannot see that God is love, then you have lost the vision for eternity.

If you can see God is love, then you will live eternity now. You will learn to love all without murmuring or arguing. True love shines and keeps us blameless before God (Philippians 2:14,15).

Love is the most excellent way. Apostleship, other offices or gifts, or ministries cannot save anyone - only the love of God can. They exist to care for God's business, the flock.

Paul recommended Timothy and Epaphroditus to care for the Philippian church (Philippians 2:19,25). He mentioned not all care about the flock or are focused on Jesus. Many have become earthly and live for their bellies (Philippians 3:17-21). They started in the Spirit; God blessed them abundantly, but now they enjoy the flesh.

Paul calls them dogs who push people to circumcise (fleshly traditions), like Peter. Peter later grew out of that mindset. There are many today who encourage religious or fleshly practices. More concerned about timings and your earthly success.

Paul valued knowing Jesus above all things. He was a star when it came to religious living earlier. Knowing Jesus transformed him radically to truly love and care for the flock of Christ. (Philippians 3:8)

When we value Jesus above all things, our character will get tested in every way. Like Jesus got tested, we too will be tested across fellowship, family, neighbours, friends, colleagues, etc. We will have a lot of information about people that will work against our zeal to love. This is spiritual warfare.

Don't let your heart be hardened. Don't let your love grow cold. Let's return to the first love. Our 💕 ng Jesus is coming for us shortly.
