Now Is The Time To Invest In The Word Of God

The time to invest in the word of God is now!

God speaks to His children. To every single one. Some children think God doesn’t speak to them, that’s not true. Pay attention. HE speaks through visions, prophecies, dreams, and so many other ways. Above all, God speaks to us through His Word.

The Psalmist reminds us (Psalms 1:2) to meditate on the word of God day and night. Moses writes in Deuteronomy about how critical it is to learn and further teach the word of God to the future generations.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: ... thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. ... thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9)

Both verses encourage us to invest in the word of God. Is there any other, better conversation partner we can get other than God? Never. Yet, He gave us a family bigger than we can ever imagine. A family to talk to in Christ. This family is founded on the Truth, guided by the Spirit.

The worldly family is all about the stock market, or sports, or entertainment or perishable things. With the Godly family it’s all about the riches and beauty of Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit.

We have a false religion rising that is adapting the language of believers, but focused on “self”. It’s comprised of top worldly people, who feel convinced about how they can make it happen on their own. Their talks sound “good” but it’s just spiritual wickedness (angel of light, lucifer).

The only way to discern is by looking at Jesus alone. By investing our time daily in God’s unchanging word and giving room for the Holy Spirit to guide our walk as kings and priests for the glory of God.

In a time of uncertainty, the devil brings delusions like we've never seen before or heard. The word of God stands true against all these false ways; the truth exposes all lies. Whether the lies are around us or even in us.

We are in the beginning of the end. Jesus will come anytime soon. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
