How To Stay On The Right Path Daily?

Do you feel you will get to heaven just because you are saved? A mere intellectual exercise will never help us grow in Christ. Is it fair for God to expect you to walk in His ways before you enter heaven?

You may have sinned terribly as a believer like Judah (Isaiah 1), yet the merciful God is willing to cleanse you if you repent.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Isaiah 1:18,19

Repentance is not a mere feeling sorry for what you’ve done. It follows a lifestyle of living in Christ every single day. True repentance stirs us to live for God with all our mind, heart and strength.

Just see what this godly sorrow produced in you! Such earnestness, such concern to clear yourselves, such indignation, such alarm, such longing to see me, such zeal, and such a readiness to punish wrong. You showed that you have done everything necessary to make things right.

2 corinthians 7:11

What are a few things God desires we do to stay on the right path daily?

1. LEARN TO DO WELL: Be filled with the love of God to be moved by faith to do good works.
2. SEEK JUDGMENT: God’s word needs to prevail over every thought, word and action. Judge your own ways, every day.
3. RELIEVE THE OPPRESSED: win souls, speaking the truth that sets free, to all who are unsaved or need to be free.
4. JUDGE THE FATHERLESS: guide those who have no biblical counsel.
5. PLEAD FOR THE WIDOW: help the helpless and lonely.

God gives us strength for all of the above. To stay on the right path, all we need to do is surrender by letting go off all our old ways. Do what God has called and blessed us to do. May God help us all. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen!
