How To Stay In The Center Of God’s Will?
Do you seek God for your will, OR, do you seek God for His will to be done in your life?
Jesus said, He came to do the Father’s will. Not His own. What the Father desires of Him was all He cared about. In other words, no matter what He had to go through He would be willing to obey and satisfy God’s will in His life.
We may know what is best for us based on our experience or even God’s word. Nevertheless, a true believer seeks what God wants.
A leper came to Jesus and sought God’s will rather than demand his healing. His humility in worship activated the power of God healing him immediately.
Jesus stretched his hand out and touched him, healing him. The outstretched hand of God does wonders and miracles (Deuteronomy 26:8). God created the heavens and the earth with his hands (Jeremiah 27:5).
It is God’s will to heal us. Divine healing of the spirit, soul and body is a heavenly right. It is given to all who love God’s word.
Why is it best to do God’s will?
Are you spiritually leprous? Backslidden, lonely and dejected? Come to Jesus worshipping, He will heal you completely. Let God touch and heal you, you’ll never rely on man again.
Only God knows what is best for us, and those around us, we impact with our lives.
Recently, a young pastor died at 33.5 years. Some saints were complaining he should have been better taken care of. They were confident in their human experience and knowledge that this pastor would have lived a long life. The truth is, God had told the pastor he was going to minister only for a few years. The young pastor had testified how his life and ministry would only be for a little while. So it was. He suddenly had a fever that hit the brain and he left to be with Jesus. When the saints closer to him recalled the last few days of the young pastors life; it got clearer that it was his time.
God decides when we enter this world and when we leave. When we desire God’s will all the time, not only will God fulfil His work in our lives but give us an expected end.
Prepare yourself to meet Jesus. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen!
