How To Maintain Order In Your Life?
What is a doctrine? The dictionary definition is, a belief or set of beliefs followed by a group or institution. It provides a framework to maintain order in your life.
Every company has its policies and framework under which it functions. Be school or workplace, we follow them without fail.
Why is it necessary? Following it ensures our safety and personal gain. Sticking by the rules keeps everything in order. The organisation functions smoothly as the people uphold internal policies.
While we understand the need to follow a set of rules at the school/workplace. How serious are we concerning doctrines that help us live the high, heavenly, and holy calling?
The apostolic doctrines is a gift. The apostles are a gift. The doctrine and teaching need to be understood correctly, and applied daily. Not just in church or at home, but wherever we go. The apostolic ministry began with the baptism of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2.
Maintain order in your life by guarding your heart with God's word
Unless we do not obey with our heart the doctrines we hear from the word we cannot walk in them. We need to preserve our walk with God and stay away from other doctrines that will attempt to confuse and cause doubts.
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Romans 6:17
The word of God needs to take deep root in us, nourished to bear good fruit, for us to be profitable. The word of God is profitable, but we need to receive it gladly to see the profit in our lives.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
