How to live in Hope?

Have you lost all hope? Do you feel hopeless?

Sadly, all who reject God will remain hopeless. We are created beings. Created by God, who brought the world into existence by His Word.

After the human spirit was disconnected because of sin caused by disobedience and lust, the world is in a lost state. People need to acknowledge the need of a Saviour to be saved by Him.

God even sent Jesus so we have a relatable individual to associate with and redeem ourselves from the lies of sin and sting of death. Jesus is our Hope, He died and rose again!

Hope is the anchor of the soul. It is sure and stedfast.

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; (Hebrews 6:19)

The Sure Word of God

Nothing is surer than the living Word of God. God told Adam that he would surely die. Satan made him doubt God's Word which made him eat of the forbidden fruit.

Lesson: Never doubt the Word of God.

Being Steadfast

When the disciples saw Jesus ascending into heaven, they gazed steadfastly at Him. They locked in on the vision of their lives. They realised their mission and purpose of life.

"And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up..." Acts 1:9, 10)

What did they do after Jesus ascended? They went to the upper chamber and waited to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. What happened after receiving the Holy Spirit?

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. (Acts 2:42)

Every evening they would pray together, have communion and walk in doctrine and Godly love.

The key to a life full of Hope is found only in the Word of God and a Spirit filled walk with God.
