Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: Psalms‬ ‭50:14‬

This 👆 is what we need to do before calling upon the Lord on the day of trouble. This means that when paying vows and offering thanksgiving to the Lord becomes a daily part of us, thereafter whatever troubles may come our way, the Lord will definitely deliver us when we call upon Him. The other thing is, the day of trouble will come and only God can deliver us out of it.

Why does the Lord allow trouble in our lives?

The Lord allows trouble not because He wants us to suffer; but rather, that we would understand His Delivering Power, His Out stretched Arms working always for us.

How does the Lord want us to glorify Him?

He desires that we remember how He delivered us from the power of sin — by sacrificing Himself upon the Cross and shedding even the last drop of His blood to save us from eternal damnation. He called us His sons and blessed us with many benefits. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John‬ ‭1:12‬.
