How To Be An Ambassador Of God?

Social Media influences culture, markets, governments, etc., affecting life in general. We have enough proof today of the after-effects of social media’s disruptive ways. A search will throw up loads of current events.

Governments toppled, celebrities exposed, companies ruined, all because people have a voice.

People are using social media to voice their opinions. Opinions that are influencing minds and hearts to sway decisions at national and global levels.

People are ambassadors for the things they love or swear by, using free speech to feel heard and connect with like-minded people.

Paul says he is an ambassador in bonds (Ephesians 6:19,20).

Who is an ambassador? An ambassador is a campaigner. Paul says he is a campaigner for Christ. He also adds he is in bonds. Meaning he is bound to campaign for Christ.

Why is he in bonds? Who bound him in chains or a contract? Is Jesus forcing him to campaign for Him?

No one forced him to do anything. He is a prisoner of God’s love. His encounter with Jesus transformed his life, and he obeyed the call of God to campaign for Him as an apostle. When we reflect on his life, we see how wonderfully God led him. His zeal for Christ is inspiring and encouraging.

Every believer has had an encounter with Jesus. But the sad truth is, not every believer desires to live for Jesus. Unless we do not desire to live for Jesus, He cannot work in our lives.

How can you be an ambassador of God?

1. Revive your relationship with Jesus through sincere prayer and bible meditation.

2. Allow the Spirit of God to fill you with His love and power.

3. Be influenced by God’s word and Spirit to use your voice for the glory of God. Offline or Online. Be bound by the love of God.

Raise awareness on the blood of Jesus that saves us fromm sin, the living word that purifies us, and the power of the Holy Spirit that will transform our mortal bodies for eternity with Jesus. Stimulate hearts to seek Christ, so we keep our opinions aside and stay focused on God’s opinion or perfect word.

It’s time to fly. Let Jesus into your heart. Do not be carried away by worldly narratives. God’s word is still current and relevant. Prepare yourself to meet Jesus. Praise God, and Amen.
