How to be a blessing in time of need?
We all want to be a blessing. But, we want to do it in our time, our way. The problem with that is, we will, without doubt, desire that glory considering we are so prone to sin. Pride is the way of life for those not in Christ. We seek credit for everything we do - checkout professional networks. Actually, any social media platform.
Our desire to be a blessing lies deeper in the foundation of recognition and need for attention and praise. We were designed to praise God. Sin converted us into lovers of self.
God fulfils his work daily in the lives of those who desire Him. He provides the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of every kind in time of need.
How did Bezaleel and Aholiab build the tabernacle? God poured His wisdom over them. Bezaleel was a wise hearted man.
How did David build the plan of the temple? God’s hand was upon him (1 chronicles 28:19). David was a man after God’s own heart.
Joseph’s dream was God sent to lift him up in due time from the 20 years of suffering. Joseph’s patience and trust in God proved a blessing not only for him but all of Israel during famine.
Be available to be a blessing in time of need
How can we be a blessing? Be wise, redeem the time. Seek God in prayer, humbly, to do His will.
When we love God, we will always be in His presence. Available to do His perfect will. In season, out of season, Jesus is always present in our every today.
When we believe, keeping God's word and giving room for the Holy Spirit daily, we begin to manifest the blessing we are called out to be.
