How Is Your Love Life?
Do you love everyone? It's easy to say you love till your character gets tested. Examine these verses to know the state of your love life.
THOSE WHO DON'T LOVE ARE DEAD TO GOD
(1 John 3:14).
The spiritually dead cannot love (including believers). What can the dead do? Nothing. The spiritually dead can do nothing of eternal importance.
Their faith is without works (James 2:26)
Still in sins and trespasses (Ephesians 2:1,2)
Mouth (praises), hand (holiness) and foot (gospel sharing) are bound (John 11:44)
THOSE WHO DON'T LOVE DO NOT KNOW GOD
(1 John 4:8)
God is love. Until we don't know God, we cannot love. When we get convicted of God's love, we will pursue Him and grow in His love.
WHAT ELSE IS EVIDENT OF BELIEVERS WHO DON'T LOVE BASED ON THE ABOVE VERSES?
They are still living in disobedience. Only those who love keep God's commandments (1 John 3:23)
They cannot please God (1 John 3:22)
They are not Spirit-led (1 John 3:24).
They live in fear that torments (1 John 4:18)
Everything we do in ministry is pointless without love. Without love, we don't exist in God's sight as believers. Return to the first love.
