How Are You Spending Your Youth?

My heart goes out for today’s young generation❤️ You know why? They are being trapped slowly yet steadily into “modernisation” — the ever growing new technologies and ever increasing knowledge.

“Too much work pressure”, the young would say if you ask them where they had been lately!!

The lure of money is burdening the youth who give away their lives for their jobs. Early to work and late back home. They feel their working late hours is justified. All at the cost of their walk with God ☹️

Those who work for big brands that boast of being a ‘great place to work’ too are found enslaved to the computer or the manager.

What drives these youth? Fear.
Fear of losing their big job.
Fear of losing their earthly standards.
Fear of self image or reputation.
Fear of losing work friends who help in need.
Fear of not getting that promotion.
Fear of not getting a salary hike.
Fear of becoming obsolete.
Fear of the future, theirs and family
and a whole lot more…

Without faith it is impossible to please God. God did not separate us to build a career. He separated us that we may be holy vessels, showing forth His praises daily. No career that God builds will take away His time with you.

“For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:15

May the Lord help these young children to understand where they need to draw a line between work and life!
