God Has Done The Impossible

It's impossible to undo what God has done in you through salvation.

Peter says - being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. (1 Peter 1:23)

The seed of Christ in you is incorruptible. No one and nothing can corrupt it.

What does that tell you about the great salvation you received in Christ Jesus? No matter what you've done in life, you can now be completely transformed by cultivating that seed in your heart.

But, as long as we are in the flesh, a spiritual battle will persist daily (Matthew 6:34), till we die (Mark 14:38). This is no ordinary battle. It's a fight in the spiritual realm and not in the natural. The spiritual battles can only be won when we keep the armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-20) on us all the time.

Peter reiterates how we are begotten through Christ Jesus to a lively hope for an incorruptible inheritance. INCORRUPTIBLE SEED LEADS TO INCORRUPTIBLE INHERITANCE. But for a moment we will need to suffer so that our faith is made more precious than gold. Peter reveals how we are kept by the power of God through faith unto (final) salvation. (1 Peter 1:3-9)

The gospel of Christ is a wonder to the angels of God. Not only was the event on Calvary a great sight for them, but they too eagerly saw the beauty of the gospel taking effect in people's lives. The gospel is given to us by grace, powered by the Holy Spirit. (1 Peter 1:12).

WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO?

  1. Let faith increase (1 Peter 1:6,7)

  2. Rejoice in the unspeakable joy of the Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 1:7-9)

  3. Let your mind stay focused on the truth

  4. Heart be sober and anchored in hope

  5. Walk in obedience as a newborn necessary for this new life

  6. Desire the holiness of God daily

  7. Live impartially

  8. Fear God

  9. Separate from vain traditions and pointless rituals

  10. Love one another with a pure heart fervently

(1 Peter 1:10-22)

God has blessed every born-again believer with the grace to live an abundant (spiritual) life in Christ. We are too blessed to be stressed. Great is the power of the Holy Spirit to heal, deliver and transform us for His glory. Trust God. Christ is coming soon.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
