Your Heart Is A House Of Prayer
A sister shared a recent incident about her neighbour.
"My house is beside a house that has cameras all over. The cameras are placed in a manner that they take care of almost all angles of our property. One of our neighbours, an entire family of doctors, lives in the largest house in the area. One day, I heard a noise in the backyard. I went out to look and saw the doctor's wife, wearing only a bathrobe, stealing some leaves for her rituals from another neighbour's house while standing on our garden brick ledge. She avoided the cameras while stealing. She shamelessly walked away amidst a group of workers while returning to her property in her bathrobe."
She is a highly educated doctor, rich and well-known in the locality. But with a mind and heart filled with darkness. Stealing is what Satan does, and she is only doing the works of darkness.
When Jesus entered the temple, he flipped the tables and said that His house was a house of prayer. Not a den for thieves.
The believer is the temple of the living God. Prayer is the foundation of all worship. Our hearts are full of praise, thanks and rejoicing in Christ.
We are mobile worshippers and not worshippers of the mobile (media). Sadly, the house of God is getting filled with believers who prefer worldly media - the world and the things of the world more than God. The rich and privileged forget that their earthly blessings are from God and fail to give God His due.
He has put His desires in our hearts, but we often fail to surrender in prayer. Prayer helps us sync with God spiritually. Jesus becomes our wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He becomes our love, peace, joy and hope. He becomes everything for and to us.
Let's come together in worship to the only one who deserves all the glory. Let our hearts rejoice in praise and thanks.
Our sweet love awaits. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
