Give your time to praise and prayer to live free
Five minutes of praising God feels never-ending sometimes. But five minutes of every other work we need to get done feels like nothing.
We are so busy in our heads today that praising God has turned into a ritual. God desires our wholehearted praise, not one where we say the words outwardly with our lips and inwardly wander in our minds. Both mind, heart, and body are in sync in worship and adoration.
Our lack of devotion to God reveals our priorities in life. Devotion is a great quality to have in a believer. But it needs to be directed to God first, so every other area in this life gets its fair share.
If our devotion only focuses on getting earthly work done first, our devotion to God will suffer. The Love of Money doesn't care about your devotion to God. But the love of God cares for your spiritual, financial, physical, and material well-being - all according to God's will.
The apostolic calling is one where the called leaves all, including whatever high position on earth one is. The rest of the believers need to work to fund their simple lives and the needs of the apostles. Not burn their lives working for this world. God has called the believer to live out the high standards. It requires a life poured out in sincere praise and thanksgiving.
If you love God, you will praise Him wholeheartedly.
Praising God for who He is, is an outcome of the love of God in your heart. Giving regular time to Praise and Prayer is something the devil hates most. He hates God and cannot tolerate His praise. So he pressurizes us to stop praising or tries to scatter our minds with unnecessary thoughts.
We are in a battle when we sit to praise or pray, a spiritual battle against (spiritual) wickedness in high places. Strive in praise and prayer, and receive your strength to endure till the end.
Jesus is coming soon. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
