Finish what you start
We mostly struggle to finish the work that we started. This struggle is more real today than ever because there's so much more (we feel) we can do with all the technology around us.
But technology has a disadvantage too. While created to connect people online, it also isolates people offline. New technologies help get work done but also increase workload over time.
The real problem is not technology but the deprived state of the human heart. Often, we start something with great excitement only to leave it halfway. Or get distracted by other exciting work that tempts us when we get bored during the work we are already doing.
The man was given work to do in the Garden of Eden but got distracted when he heard about how better his life could be if he ate the forbidden fruit.
Our life is filled with distractions and disappointments. But we need to finish what we start unless it's clear that you will end in ruin or if it is wrong.
Ananias and Sapphira had started a good thing but could not remain faithful.
Judas got going well but finished in hell.
Demas gave up when the New Testament ministry was at its peak.
King Solomon began humble but then stumbled.
Let Jesus finish the good work He has started in your life.
Jesus started the good work in us and can finish it. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6)
Put your confidence in God's word. Trust God, and He will bring the right people into your life to guide you. During your spiritual walk, when you feel weary, reach out to spiritual elders as you wait in prayer and bible meditation.
