Fearing Ministers

Be aware of the fear trap where spiritually backslidden ministers use a manipulation technique to control weak believers. Many believers, especially women and children, fall into this trap.

This form of emotional manipulation is a way to assert authority to get (over time) money or information from a believer. It's a carefully maintained disposition that evokes a form of godliness. If the minister belongs to a denomination that enforces uniforms, matters get worse.

Such evil in the church is bound to manifest in the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-4,5-10). Paul warns us to run away from such servants of God or believers.

For example, a minister to a believer woman said, "Don't you know we have church construction work on?" "You must give a good amount. I told your husband as well." She lied and hadn't told the husband anything but hoped by saying that she could immediately get some cash in hand. All this after knowing the husband had been jobless for a few years.

Fully consecrated ministers do not ask for money. Their consecration to leave their family and passions is an apostolic way of life where they trust God for all things. While it applies to the believer, ministers need to be examples first. These natures reveal only a form of godliness. It does not honour God as it lacks faith. Have nothing with such people, says Paul.

Today, believers' lives have better consecration than most celibate ministers enchanted by the love of money.

Such fallenness eventually gets exposed because no lie is of the truth. Nothing can go against the truth.

A personal prayer and Bible study life alone can help us stand against such evil forces. Everything that happens is a spiritual battle before us, especially in church. Believers get discouraged by such pressures and leave. God wants believers to stand in love and truth.

Know God's desires, watch and pray so you don't fall into temptations. The time is short.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
