Faith Sees What The Natural Eyes Cannot

We believe only in what we want to believe. We desire facts and evidence but still don't believe.

We question, murmur, argue, and leave ourselves more confused because we do not value the presence of God.

The division of the Red Sea got quickly forgotten by the Israelites. They also forgot how God brought them out of Egypt with the ten plagues without harm to the Israelites. Israel saw, heard, felt, and experienced the mighty presence of God as God delivered them from Pharaoh and the forty year wilderness journey.

These Old Testament forefathers had all the facts and evidence before them and still failed to believe. Only Joshua and Caleb, women and children, entered the promised land.

The state of the world is now open to all because of the internet. We see and hear news from around the world. The advancement of science and the tall promises of governments and companies have left the world more jobless, homeless, and most hopeless. Yet many refuse to turn to God despite all the evidence in nature.

BELIEVING BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT

Jesus says those who believe without seeing are more blessed. Is it illogical? Not! We believe in Jesus because He loved us first. We were led to Jesus by the Father and now powered by the Holy Spirit.

We walk by faith and not by sight. We have access to God by faith through the blood of Jesus Christ. What happens when we believe by faith? We see an outpouring of Grace and mercy in our lives. We receive revelation to grow in wisdom and knowledge as we spend more time with Jesus in prayer and bible meditation.

When we believe, we look at Jesus alone. Not how others are living their lives. We look at Jesus by walking by His word and being an example. Where the word is, the Spirit follows. Let's not forget the high, heavenly, and holy calling of God in our lives. You live out based on the facts and evidence in your life to comfort one another about the coming of the Lord.

The time is at hand. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
