Evil Turned Into Good!

Are you burdened because there are people going against you daily? Are you heavy hearted because of their constant plotting? Does the load of care weigh you down?

WELL, I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS FOR YOU 🙂Don’t be discouraged. God is going to turn the bad into good for you.

The Israelites were God’s chosen people because of the covenant God had done with Abraham. Their life and laws were unlike any others. They were special because God Himself would provide for them, fight for them, lead and guide them. The Almighty God had promised Abraham that He would bless him and his seed.

There was a tribe called Moabites who lived around the Israelites and their King was Balak. This king was aware of how supernaturally the God of Israel worked for His people. His heart was envious against them and so he plotted to use Balaam the godly prophet to curse them - Numbers 22:7

And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.

THEY PURPOSED EVIL AGAINST ISRAELITES BUT THE LORD TURNED IT FOR GOOD.

Balak lured Balaam using money to curse Israelites. Yet he wasn’t successful because God was watching all throughout. Balaam went to curse Israelites not once but FOUR times. Every time Balaam went to curse, God warned him not to and Balaam returned speaking words of blessing instead.

• Numbers 23:10 - Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!
• Numbers‬ ‭23:21‬ ‭He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.
• Numbers‬ ‭24:5‬ ‭- How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!
• ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭24:8‬ ‭- God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

Thus, the Lord stopped Balaam from cursing the Israelites. Dear child of God, for those who put their trust upon God, He proves good to them. For a true believer there isn’t any safety in this world. But Jesus said, But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33.

Surrender your battles to the Lord and let Him fight for you. May God help us.
