Born Again

Are you born-again?

A believer is a born-again follower of Christ - not someone who finds the Bible interesting. Or someone who thinks the life of Jesus is intriguing for study or personal intellectual stimulation.

A man needs to be born-again to see God's Kingdom.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

Three insights from John 3 on what it means to be born again

  1. (John 3:1-12) NICODEMUS was a spiritual man. He was called the 'Master of Israel'. After all, he was an Israelite himself. Even he did not understand how a person could be born-again. If NICODEMUS the Jew did not understand, do you think any other unsaved person can interpret what the Bible says? You, dear believer, are born-again. As a Spirit-baptised believer, you can interpret because God has opened your eyes to understand spiritual matters.

  2. (John 3:27) God, The Father, chooses who needs to get saved in time. No one can receive the treasures of heaven without God's knowledge. You are chosen by the Creator of the heavens and the earth, dear believer. Call out to Him. He will answer in time.

  3. (John 3:31-34) As believers, we aren't faking it. We have seen and heard, and so we testify in word and action. How is your vision in Christ today? Only when we invest our time daily will we be able to renew our vision of Calvary and respond to the call by the power of His resurrection.

God is for us, not against us. Victory is ours, says God. Let's move forward with a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit and conquer each day for His glory.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
