Be full of faith, not of little faith

What happens when God chooses His children? Everyone who submits to His Word becomes a mighty (spiritual) person.

Consider the parable of the mustard seed (Mark 4:30-32). It is the lesser seed among all the herbs but grows mightier than the rest. When God selects, He chooses the least so He can glorify Himself in and through them.

But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty]. God has selected [for His purpose] the insignificant (base) things of the world, and the things that are despised and treated with contempt, [even] the things that are nothing, so that He might reduce to nothing the things that are, so that no one may [be able to] boast in the presence of God.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

The mustard seed is not only minuscule but full inside. Our faith needs to be full to bear fruit. We need a wholehearted surrender to God for everything in life. Our belief needs to be whole and without a doubt (Matthew 17:20).

The seed of the word is sown in our hearts so we can grow and bear fruit for God. Growth is necessary. If you are not growing in the Lord, do you think you invested your time correctly? Are your meditation and prayer followed by obedience to God's word in line?

The mustard seed grows so big that its branches provide shade. As believers, God has called us to be a source of comfort to the world around us. Our love and kindness bring rest and peace to everyone around us.

Let your faith be full, not little faith.

How is this faith lifestyle possible? When we abide in Christ. Jesus said I am the vine, and you are the branches (John 15:1-7). We need to be rooted in Christ to bear fruit for the kingdom of God.

When you understand something about Christ, submit to the teaching fully, without a doubt.

Love wholeheartedly, and faith will follow in fullness. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
