Why me of all the people on earth?

When we question why God chose us over others then we are questioning the perfect decision of God.

God created man for himself. Man chose to sin. God has to fulfil his word concerning man. To repair the damage caused by sin, who did God choose? The smallest group of insignificant people in the world, the Jews.

James 2:5 - God has chosen the poor of this world but rich in faith.

Psalms 8:2 - we are babes and sucklings chosen to confound the wisdom of this world.

Matthew 11:25 - the wisdom of God is given to the less fortunate or the hopeless.

and 1 Corinthians 1:27 all reveal that God chooses the weak and clueless.

But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty]. God has selected [for His purpose] the insignificant (base) things of the world, and the things that are despised and treated with contempt, [even] the things that are nothing, so that He might reduce to nothing the things that are, so that no one may [be able to] boast in the presence of God. 

1 corinthians 1:27-29

Jacob was a liar, yet God named him Israel. So, if you are born in the Christian Faith, know that God has positioned you to do his holy will.

Paul, a murderer of Christians, yet God converted him to be a champion of the faith.

You are blessed, do not ask why me.

Consider yourself blessed rather than question why God chose you over others on this earth. Yes, you’ll find others better than you in every way. Never forget, that God chose you. Walk in His word.

“And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”

Luke 10:23-24

Jesus came down to earth poor and revealed the wisdom and power of God to all who came to Him. Every believer follows the way of Jesus Christ in order to stay poor but rich and powerful in the faith of the Son of God. God anoints His children to walk in the power of His might. All we need to do is surrender our spirit, soul and body for Him to do His perfect work in and through us.

Do you see how privileged you are? God powers His children to overcome this life to enter into eternity with Him. Now go out and live for His glory in all humility and love.
