Are You Hearing From God?
A ritualistic life, without wholehearted surrender, will leave us dry and broken. What do we need? We need God to hear us and to hear from God.
How To Get Your Voice Heard By God?
For God to hear your call and for Him to answer your cry for help with a "Here I am", keep your life aligned with His word. Prophet Isaiah reveals in Isaiah 58:9-11 a few simple truths.
Take away from your midst the yoke of oppression. (Stop being cruel to people and rescue them instead from the devil's cruelty)
Remove the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and [every form of] wicked (sinful, unjust) speech. (Stop finding fault and speaking negatively)
Offer yourself to [assist] the hungry (Word) to satisfy the need of the afflicted (under spiritual bondage).
How Will You Become?
Then your light will rise in the darkness, and your gloom will become like midday. You will be the light of the world.
What Will God Do For You After Hearing You?
He will continually guide you.
Satisfy your soul in scorched places.
Give strength to your bones. Build you in sound doctrine.
God's grace strengthens us to overcome evil natures. His Spirit destroys every mental and emotional attack against us when we stick to the truth of this new life in Christ.
