9 Qualities Needed To Be His People! Part-3

Well, here’s the final part of the series belonging to the 9 qualities needed to be God’s people. Read on to know more:

7. Knowing the language of Canaan - Canaan is the Promised Land - land flowing with milk and honey; the land, God had promised to the children of Israel. The language of Canaan is the language of love.

In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan,.. Isaiah‬ ‭19:18‬

Five cities refers to the five senses in the human body. These five cities need to speak the language of love. For example, in a given situation where we may not speak using words, our body language will help others figure out what we are actually trying to say 😄 Nevertheless, when our language is of love, then no matter how tough the situation and people may be, we will be able to bear them lovingly.

For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent. Zephaniah‬ ‭3:9‬ Pure words can only proceed from a pure heart because out of the fullness of the heart, the mouth speaks. Hence, let’s put away the old man’s words of anger and speak the language of love.

8. Being corrected by the Lord - When we allow ourselves to be corrected by the Lord, we will escape the coming judgement. All those are loved by God are corrected by Him too. Proverbs 3:12.

And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be entreated of them, and shall heal them. Isaiah‬ ‭19:22‬

What we need to always bear in mind is that, God’s correction is never to destroy us. But rather, just as a loving father would chasten his son out of love so that the child does not go astray, similarly, the Lord might lead us through paths of rectification but it will always be for our good.

9. People walking in His highway - There will be a great revival happening within us when we give ourselves to be set right by God.

In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. Isaiah‬ ‭19:23‬

This highway is a way of holiness. To go through this highway first we need to be healed by God, which in turn will bring forth a great revival or stirring up within ourselves. In this way to heaven will be opened in our hearts.

And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. Isaiah‬ ‭35:8‬.
