4 Key Matters To Pray For According To Jesus

Often we don’t know what to pray for. We hit a blank when we sit to pray. It doesn’t need to be so. How to start? Start with what Jesus requests for prayer. Here are four matters to pray for, mentioned by Jesus.

Before we read about what to pray. We need to know the secret ingredient to praying successfully. Whatever we pray for must involve full belief. In Mark 11:24, Jesus says, pray believing that you have already received. We cannot pray doubting. We need to pray by faith. Believe to expect God’s perfect will to be done.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

4 Key Matters To Pray, For All Believers

Pray for them who despitefully use you, and persecute you. Easy to preach, but often the hardest to apply. All possible through the love of the Heavenly Father.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matthew 5:44

We need to pray so we are ready for whenever the time of the rapture is (Mark 13:3). Praying keeps us engaged and alert as we lean on God for all things.

Pray to overcome temptations. Jesus reminds us to watch and pray so we can overcome.

And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

Luke 22:46

Pray for labourers for the harvest. Way too many souls are coming to Christ in these last days. The labourers are few. Who needs to labour? You and me, dear believer.

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Matthew 9:38

There are many reasons to pray. The believer is a prayer warrior. He thrives on prayer. Prayer builds and nourishes a believers walk with God.
