How To Stay In The Light Of God?

We believers, are called to stay in the light of God as long as we are in this world. When we stay in His light, God keeps us in His will.

Who hates the light?

Every one that does evil, hates the light.
Satan does evil all the time. There is no light in him. He is full of darkness.

What is this light?

It is the awesome presence of God. We enjoy the presence of God through personal prayer, bible meditation, testimony and fellowship.

Who is the light? He is Jesus! He is grace and truth. This light is the light of truth.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)

Believers who are addicted to sin, are afraid to come to the light, fearing they’ll be exposed publicly. They are afraid, what if some man of God exposes their true state? Some, start self justifying by finding fault with the people in church rather than focusing on Jesus.

Stay in the light of God

Those who love the truth will come to the presence of God. They will examine their life, focus on correcting their actions and growing in Christ. They will live a life pleasing to God. Every day is a new day which calls for a refreshing, renewal and refining in Christ alone.

We are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hid (Matthew 5:14). Let’s stay in the marvellous light of God. If we fall, rollover to His presence.

No matter what, we cannot let go of Jesus.
He will deliver us completely.
He is coming for each one of us.

All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. (John 3:20, 21)
