Promise Me!

The Valentine's Week begins with flowering roses followed by a lovely proposal and then dinner dates, chocolates, gifts etc etc. But all of this would be a waste if it's not concluded with a perfect promise. It is February 11 and couples worldwide are caught up making the week a special one for their loved ones.💖 Of all the other days in the Valentine Week, the Promise Day, to me seems like a semifinal match of a grand slam. The fifth day of the Valentine Week has its own glamour and excitement. Yet, couples often find it difficult to express their feelings to their partners. Because the day belongs to those who want to strengthen their relationship and understand the importance of keeping their promises to each other. It's easy to impress on a Chocolate Day and a Teddy Day by gifting adorable things. But a Promise Day can only be made exceptional by presenting the gift of their words and love - through well-weaved words.I will be there for you sweetheart!!In spite of all this, some do fail in keeping their promises with each other. Pleasantries exchanged during the week can go off within a few days. And the reason can be anything.BUT THERE IS ONE PERSON WHO HAS PROMISED NEVER TO LEAVE YOU ALONE!!His Name Is Jesus.Jesus does exactly what He promises. He's an unchanging God. He will never lie to us. Because He's perfect. In Mathew 28:20 He has promised us,

.... and lo, I am with you even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The Word of God is brimming with God's promises towards mankind. All His promises are Yea and Amen - 2 Corinthians 1:20. Two of His important promises made to us are:- Promise of the Holy Spirit - Acts 2:33 - Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.- Promise of Healing - "....for I am the Lord that healeth thee." Exodus 15:26We make so many promises as men. Most of the time we are unable to fulfil or keep it. Worldly love is full of fake promises and lies. People are more miserable in love (lust), in this world rather than joyful in hope. Are you His child? If not, come to Jesus and He will burn all your fears and doubts. If you are, let the promise of the fire of the Holy Spirit destroy every stronghold of darkness in you.The rest and peace we receive in Christ Jesus is for life everlasting.Be blessed!
