Is Jesus your firm foundation for this life?

Every morning, every moment of every day, God visits us and tries us (Job 7:17,18). Do you know of anyone you think who loves you, cares about you this much? None.

Job’s condition was terrible. He was restless day in and day out. He couldn’t sleep nor lie down enough.

“When I lie down I say, ‘When shall I arise [and the night be gone]?’ But the night continues, And I am continually tossing until the dawning of day. My body is clothed with worms and a crust of dust; My skin is hardened [and broken and loathsome], and [breaks out and] runs.”

Job‬ ‭7:4-5‬

A perfect and upright man like Job went through such suffering, it’s unheard of. Of course it’s second to what Jesus went through. Nevertheless, for Job to stay faithful reveals he never gave into victim mentality. He suffered the sickness throughout and emerged victorious.

What a brilliant example of a man who loved God back. His wife, and friends harassed him mentally and emotionally as he suffered physically. Yet he stood firm in his faith in God.

God’s word is our firm foundation for a life everlasting in Him

Dear brother and sister, let’s not look for people outside of the word of God to build our faith.

Look at Jesus and His word. Spend your mornings, and every moment of every day, loving God. Each day has enough evil according to Jesus. Let’s stay focused on doing the will of God.

Delight in His word. Receive perfect love into your hearts through the Holy Spirit. Get ready for the day of Christ. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen!

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Matthew‬ ‭6:34‬ ‭
