How To Win The Spiritual Battle?

Do you realise the spiritual battle you are in daily?

Our flesh wars against our spirit on a daily basis. Unless we don’t win the war inside us, we won’t understand the war outside of us, the world we live in.

Why do I do the things I don't want to do, or know is wrong? This struggle is real for all mankind.

What makes believers different? Jesus Christ. By grace, through faith, we receive the strength to overcome spiritual attacks against the mind and the heart.

Winning The Spiritual Battle

Believers, fully aware of the consequences of sinful behaviour, choose to follow Christ rather than give in to fleshly lusts.

"... abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;" (1 Peter 2:11).

Believers thrive in godly wisdom and not on fleshly wisdom.

"For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, ..." (2 Corinthians 1:12)

Believers are led by the Spirit of God to overcome the lusts of the flesh.

"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." (Galatians 5:16)

Believers live to do the will of the Father, like Jesus, and are now crucified with Christ.

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

Believers are aware their battle in the flesh is against spiritual wickedness and not humans.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12)

How are you? In Christ, made more than conquerors.
